A real robot arm for your desk
MiniArm is a small open-source desktop robot arm cut from white acrylic. Four 9 g metal-gear servos (MG90S type) rotate the base, move the two parallel-linkage arm sections and open and close the gear-driven gripper, so the arm can position its gripper in 3-D space and pick up small, light objects. It can be driven by an Arduino with a servo shield, or by any other microcontroller that can output servo signals.

Good to know
- It lifts only small, light objects (a few grams).

- Open-source Arduino example code is available for this project; you upload it with the free Arduino IDE.
- This kit ships by a special line because its servos/motors contain magnets (see the shipping note).
- Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 8.

Orders are usually handed to the carrier within 2–5 business days, and economical international post then takes about 10–30 business days to arrive; these are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery time depends on the destination and on postal and customs handling. If you need your order by a certain date, email us before ordering: faster shipping can be arranged, with the extra cost charged at the carrier's actual rate. Items that contain batteries or magnets are marked on their product page and ship by a special carrier line; some countries and regions cannot be reached by that line, and if yours is one of them we refund the order in full.
