What is it?

OrbitBadge is a compact programmable electronic badge built around the ESP32-S3. It combines a 1.28-inch 240 × 240 round color touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE, a side function button and power switch, microphone, audio codec, amplifier, speaker, rechargeable battery, and battery fuel gauge in a 45.8 × 45.8 × 12.3 mm enclosure.

The original technical documentation refers to this hardware as OJBadge.

Why did you make it?

I wanted to create a small, self-contained device that turns an idea into a working hardware demo quickly. Instead of wiring a display, touch controller, audio boards, buttons, charging circuit, and battery separately, makers can focus on the experience they want to build.

OrbitBadge connects AI-assisted idea generation, visual programming, and real hardware feedback. Describe an idea, generate or arrange the blocks in AilyBlockly, flash the program, and see the result on the device.
