Shipping, Customs & Duties Notice

For the logistics services we use, shipments to most major developed countries are delivered door to door, and the shipping fee includes customs clearance, duties, and taxes. If a particular destination, route, or carrier requires the buyer to pay import duties/taxes separately or provide information for customs declaration or clearance, we will contact you before shipment and will only ship after confirming the required information with you. Please order with confidence and do not worry about unexpected customs charges after purchase.

IMPORTANT UPDATE — NEW STANDARD MEMORY CONFIGURATION

From now on, all parts kits and fully assembled systems will ship exclusively with our new 8 × 4164 DRAM adapter solution, as shown in Photo 4. It fully replaces the original 24 × 4116 RAM chips. The adapter installs in Slot 0 and also provides Apple II Language Card functionality, significantly expanding usable memory.

Reliable 4116 chips are now scarce, expensive, and often available only as used parts with hidden faults; sourcing and testing them greatly increases labor and product cost. 4164 RAM is still available in dependable quantities, making this solution more reliable and economical. Future 4164 supply cannot be guaranteed, so customers who want this kit are encouraged to order early.

What is it?
This is a faithful reproduction of the original Apple II Rev 0 motherboard, allowing retro computing enthusiasts to rebuild or experience firsthand Apple's legendary personal computer. We offer multiple purchase options: the bare PCB for true DIY enthusiasts, the comprehensive parts kit including components, PS2 keyboard adapter, and power supply for convenient assembly, as well as the fully assembled and tested version ready for immediate use. An optional GamePad is available, making gaming on your vintage computer setup effortless and enjoyable.

Why did you make it?
Driven by passion and nostalgia, we created this product to preserve the history of personal computing, making the iconic Apple II experience accessible to hobbyists, collectors, and educators around the globe. Original hardware has become scarce and expensive; this product provides an affordable alternative, allowing users to explore computing heritage hands-on.

What makes it special?
Our Apple II Rev 0 replica PCB precisely matches the original design, enabling an authentic historical computing experience. The DIY kits are thoughtfully curated to include everything you need—saving time and hassle. Fully assembled versions offer convenience for those eager to dive straight into classic computing. Whether you're reliving memories or discovering vintage tech for the first time, this product offers authenticity, ease of use, and endless retro fun.

Additional note on component sourcing:
Due to increasing scarcity and difficulty in sourcing certain vintage chips, we've had to source some ICs and components from tested and guaranteed working used stock. Every chip and component included in our kits has been thoroughly tested by powering up on an actual Apple II system, ensuring functionality and reliability before shipment. This meticulous testing process requires substantial labor and expertise, increasing our operational costs.

Enthusiasts attempting to self-source components based solely on the original Apple II BOM often face challenges, such as receiving non-functional or counterfeit chips. Our fully tested kits eliminate this frustration, allowing you to confidently and smoothly complete your Apple II build.
