See exactly where light goes
A battery-powered source sends three parallel red laser beams across the table, so every ray is visible. Put the acrylic lenses, the block, the prism or the bendable mirror strip in their path and watch the beams bend, converge, spread out or bounce back. Three convex lenses with different focal lengths also model normal, far-sighted and near-sighted eyes.

What you'll do
- Switch on one, two or all three laser beams
- Place each lens in the beams and mark where the rays cross
- Bend the mirror strip flat, convex or concave and compare the reflections
- Compare the three convex lenses to model normal, far-sighted and near-sighted eyes
