About Electronic Components & Packs
Every workbench needs a stock of the everyday parts: resistors and capacitors in the common values, LEDs, transistors, diodes, voltage regulators and logic chips. This section brings them together as assortment boxes and packs, so you have the value you need when a project calls for it instead of ordering one part at a time.
Each product page lists exactly what is inside, value by value, in tables. The kits are through-hole parts, the kind that plug into a breadboard and solder easily by hand, which makes them a good match for our retro computing kits, TTL CPUs and electronics learning kits as well as for repairs and school labs.
The parts come in small bags labelled by value or part number, packed by hand by our supplier; a bag can occasionally hold a few pieces more or less than listed. Because every pack is assembled to order from several boxes, the packs are priced as complete sets. Buy any 3 or more parts packs in one order and save 10% on all of them.
