Shipping, Customs & Duties Notice
For the logistics services we use, shipments to most major developed countries are delivered door to door, and the shipping fee includes customs clearance, duties, and taxes. If a particular destination, route, or carrier requires the buyer to pay import duties/taxes separately or provide information for customs declaration or clearance, we will contact you before shipment and will only ship after confirming the required information with you. Please order with confidence and do not worry about unexpected customs charges after purchase.
What is it?
The Apple II Classic Tribute Motherboard is a modern, compact re-creation of the original Apple II main board, with a built-in 16K Language Card realized entirely in a CPLD. It provides full Apple II compatibility, native RCA video output and a directly plugged-in PS/2 keyboard adapter, all on a much smaller, more reliable PCB.
Why did you make it?
To pay homage to the legendary Apple II while addressing its common pain points: large PCB size, many discrete ICs, and aging components. By folding most of the logic into a single CPLD and integrating the language card on-board, we dramatically reduced part count and footprint, making assembly, shipping and long-term use much simpler.
What makes it special?
Full feature parity with the original Apple II Plus + 16K Language Card, including expansion slots and true memory mapping.
Modern conveniences: RCA video out for easy TV/monitor hookup, onboard PS/2 keyboard interface—no adapter dongle needed.
Streamlined design: CPLD replaces dozens of TTL chips, boosting reliability and cutting PCB area by over 50%.
Ready to go: expansion edge-connectors come pre-soldered; just plug in your cards and power on.
