What is it?

A fully assembled 128K RAM expansion card for the original Apple II and Apple II Plus, based on the classic Saturn bank-switched design. Install it in slot 0 to add Language Card-compatible memory.

Why use it?

Many Apple II programs use one 16K bank, bringing a 48K machine to the 64K configuration required by ProDOS and many 64K programs and games. Software written for the Saturn memory scheme can bank-switch among eight 16K banks and use the full 128K hardware capacity.

Compatibility and important notes

• Intended for Apple II and Apple II Plus computers with an available slot 0.

• Hardware capacity is 128K; ordinary software may use only 16K. Access to the additional banks requires Saturn-compatible software.

• Fully assembled card; the item supplied is the card shown in the photos.

• Turn off and unplug the computer before installation. Vintage-computer compatibility can vary with system condition and other installed cards.
