Make shafts, wheels and slides run smoothly
Every moving model needs something for its shafts to turn in. This pack covers the common cases: miniature and flanged ball bearings for shafts from 1 to 8 mm, linear bearings for parts that slide along a rod, cheap brass bushings for slow axles, thin steel tubes to use as sleeves and spacers, and grooved bearing pulleys that roll along a rail or a cord. It complements our Linkage & Bearing Pack, which has twenty 2 × 5 mm bearings and shaft support blocks.

Shielded steel bearings for tiny shafts in models, gearboxes and RC parts. If a shaft is a tight fit, smooth it with fine sandpaper rather than forcing the bearing on.

The flange stops the bearing from sliding through its hole, so it only needs a drilled hole in a plate or a wheel hub: press it in from one side and the flange holds it.

Linear bearings let a carriage slide along a smooth rod, as in 3D printers, camera sliders and plotters. The 8 mm size matches the common 8 mm smooth rods.

Plain bushings for 2 mm and 2.5 mm axles: cheaper than ball bearings and fine for slow wheels and gear shafts. Glue them into a hole in a frame or a plate.

Use the tubes as axle sleeves in wood or plastic frames, as spacers between wheels, or to join two pieces of shaft.

A ball bearing with a grooved steel rim: it rolls along a V or round rail, guides a cord or wire, or makes a smooth pulley for a model crane. Mount it on an M3 or M4 screw.

Press a 2 × 5, 2.5 × 6 or 3 × 6 mm bearing from this pack into the seat and screw it to a model car frame or a plate; without a bearing the seat works as a simple axle holder for a 2 mm shaft. Screws are not included (M2 fits).
Good to know
- Shafts, rods, screws and housings are not included; our Micro Shaft & Coupler Pack has steel shafts from 1 to 3 mm.
- Sizes are the supplier's measurements and can differ slightly. Steel bearings are magnetic; keep them dry and lightly oiled.
- About 0.3 kg packed, so there is no weight surcharge on this pack.

We ship worldwide, by default with economical international post (UPU / China Post small packet) to keep shipping costs low. Orders are usually handed to the carrier within 2–5 business days, and economical international post then takes about 10–30 business days to arrive; these are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery time depends on the destination and on postal and customs handling. If you need your order by a certain date, email us before ordering: faster shipping can be arranged, with the extra cost charged at the carrier's actual rate. Items that contain batteries or magnets are marked on their product page and ship by a special carrier line; some countries and regions cannot be reached by that line, and if yours is one of them we refund the order in full.
