Description
Make a ball float in the air
This kit builds a magnetic levitation display. A coil in the top housing works as an electromagnet, and a control circuit keeps adjusting its pull so it exactly balances the weight of the orange ball. Set the ball in the right spot about 1–3 cm below the housing, let go, and it hangs in mid-air while the base lights up; slide a sheet of paper between them to prove nothing is touching.

Good to know
