Description
A metal construction set for frames, chassis and mechanisms
Plated steel strips, angles, U-channels and plates with rows of small holes, like a classic metal construction set. Bolt them together with M2 screws to make robot chassis, gearbox frames, axle supports, motor brackets and model structures, then take them apart and use them again. Most parts have 2 mm holes on a 5 mm pitch; the angle strips have 3 mm holes and the two-hole L plates 4 mm holes, so they also work as axle bearings.

The 3 mm holes of the angle strips are slightly oversize (about 3.1 mm), so a 3 mm shaft turns freely in them; the 4 mm holes of the L plates take a 4 mm axle the same way.

The small U brackets hold 2 mm axles under a chassis; the U-irons and cross brackets join plates at right angles in several directions.
Good to know
- Screws and nuts are not included. Most parts take M2 screws; the angle strips take M3 and the two-hole L plates M4. Our Screw & Standoff Hardware Pack has all three sizes.
- The parts are plated mild steel and can be bent or cut with tin snips. Edges are as stamped; deburr them if you handle the parts a lot.
- Heavy item: about 0.75 kg packed, so the price includes a $5 weight surcharge towards international postage (the same surcharge applies to each pack you order).
- Parts are counted and bagged by our supplier, so a bag can occasionally hold a piece more or less than listed.
- Contains small parts. Not a toy; keep away from young children.

Standard shipping: $9.00 for the first item, +$1.80 for each additional item. Free shipping on orders over $260.
We ship worldwide, by default with economical international post (UPU / China Post small packet) to keep shipping costs low. Orders are usually handed to the carrier within 2–5 business days, and economical international post then takes about 10–30 business days to arrive; these are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery time depends on the destination and on postal and customs handling. If you need your order by a certain date, email us before ordering: faster shipping can be arranged, with the extra cost charged at the carrier's actual rate. Items that contain batteries or magnets are marked on their product page and ship by a special carrier line; some countries and regions cannot be reached by that line, and if yours is one of them we refund the order in full.
