Checkout and order confirmation

Direct payments are completed on a PayPal-hosted checkout page. Mematrix Shop does not collect or store card numbers. The product, currency, shipping charge, and total shown on the PayPal page are the final checkout terms.

An order is accepted only after PayPal marks the payment as completed and we confirm that the item, amount, delivery address, and stock are correct. We may cancel and fully refund an order affected by a clear pricing error, unavailable destination, stock error, or shipping restriction.

Shipping

We ship worldwide. To keep shipping charges low, orders are sent by default with economical international post (UPU / China Post small packet). Products marked Standard shipping ship for $9.00 for the first item plus $1.80 for each additional item in the same order, and standard shipping is free when the order subtotal is over $260.00. Other products either include shipping in the listed price or show a fixed shipping charge per item. Any shipping charge is shown in the cart and in PayPal checkout before you pay and is collected with the order.

Delivery time. Orders are usually handed to the carrier within 2–5 business days, and economical international post then takes about 10–30 business days to arrive; these are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery time depends on the destination and on postal and customs handling. If you need your order by a certain date, email us before you order, or right after ordering with your PayPal transaction ID. We can then use a faster carrier with better delivery-time guarantees; the extra shipping cost is charged at that carrier's actual rate, and we confirm it with you before shipping.

Batteries, magnets and other sensitive goods. Ordinary postal parcels that contain batteries, magnets or other sensitive goods may not pass security screening. Products that contain, or may contain, batteries or magnets (for example in a motor, speaker or rechargeable battery) are marked on their product page; they ship by a special carrier line, and their price includes a $10 surcharge for this. Some countries and regions cannot be reached by this line. If yours is one of them, we email you and refund the order in full. If a parcel is still stopped by screening, we email you and you choose: we check whether our logistics partners have another channel that accepts these goods (the extra cost is confirmed with you first), or we give you a full refund.

Delivery details and contact. Orders ship only to the address shown in the PayPal transaction details. Please make sure it includes your full name, complete delivery address, email address and phone number; carriers may need the phone number to deliver. We handle all shipping and delivery questions by email. Tracking is supplied when the shipping service supports online tracking.

Customs, duties and taxes. Import duties, taxes and customs requirements depend on the destination country, the shipping route and the local customs office, so we cannot say in advance whether any will apply to your parcel. Customs may hold a parcel, ask for more information, or ask for duties or taxes to be paid, even when the declared value is correct. If you have a question about your country, email us before ordering. Remote-area charges may also apply in some destinations.

Cancellations, returns, and refunds

To cancel an unshipped order or report a damaged, incorrect, or defective item, send us a message with the PayPal transaction ID and a description of the issue. Please report delivery problems within 14 days after delivery.

When a return is appropriate, obtain written return instructions before sending the item. We may offer troubleshooting, replacement parts, replacement, partial refund, or full refund depending on the issue. Approved refunds are returned through the original PayPal transaction. Return shipping is paid by the store for confirmed wrong or defective items; change-of-mind returns require prior agreement and may be paid by the buyer.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in the buyer's country.

Privacy

This storefront does not create customer accounts and does not directly collect payment-card data. PayPal processes checkout information under its own privacy terms. Namecheap and Cloudflare may process ordinary technical request data needed to host, secure, and deliver the site.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic, page views, outbound clicks, and similar usage patterns. Google may process technical identifiers, device/browser information, approximate location, and interaction data for measurement. This helps us improve product pages and the independent checkout experience.

Information sent by email or included with an order is used to answer questions, fulfill orders, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not sell customer personal information.

Product and use terms

Many products are small-batch maker hardware, DIY kits, educational devices, reproductions, or compatibility accessories. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, they are not medical, automotive, life-safety, or industrial control equipment. Installation and assembly require appropriate technical skill, safe power supplies, and anti-static precautions.

Small parts, batteries, tools, soldering, and powered mechanisms require adult supervision where appropriate. Compatibility names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe historical context or interoperability.
