Each kit in this section is a small, complete science experiment in a box. Children assemble a working model from pre-cut parts and then use it to see a principle in action: a motor spinning on a coil and a magnet, a wind turbine lighting an LED, a periscope bending light with mirrors, a pump lifting water through one-way valves, a pulley crane lifting a load with less force.
The kits are grouped by subject: electricity and magnetism; mechanics and simple machines; energy, including solar, wind, heat and water power; light, sound and astronomy; water, air and weather; vehicles and robots; and maths and everyday science. Every product page explains the science the kit demonstrates, what you will do and what is in the box, and says whether batteries are needed (they are usually not included).
They suit children from about 8 years old, younger with an adult, and are widely used by teachers, homeschool families, science clubs and STEM programmes, since every kit is one complete lesson. Many are priced under $25, which makes them easy to buy for a whole class. Kits that contain a motor, magnets or batteries are marked on their product pages.
